just “right-click” the main exe file, then choose “create shortcut”, after it popped-up, then just put that shortcut on your desktop.

what the…you sure? never heard that ever happened before. in that case, i can’t help you.
You can paste a shortcut after rightclicking and copying the main exe file.
i don’t think it’d work, coz it’d be just a copied stand-alone exe with no file to associate with. a real shortcut will connect to the main exe file. but copying the main exe won’t make it a shortcut, so nothing would happen.
when you copy it, you can click a paste shortcut button instead of the simple paste choice.
